The Big Ten moves location of officials for onsides kick after the Gophers’ loss to Michigan last week.

Loons are at Real Salt Lake tonight with an opportunity with some help to get out of the one-game play-in in the Western Conference. Two games left after tonight.

Wild gets Jared Spurgeon (two goals) back for next-to-last pre-season game and beats Blackhawks 7-2. Injured Matt Boldy is back at practice. Marc-Andre Fleury joined the ice crew for the night. They’re at Chicago Satuday before for real games start next week.

You watch an inning of playoff baseball and realize how far the Twins have to go.

Lynx Evens Semifinal Series 1-1 Behind Supporting Cast

If I told you Napheesa Collier scored just nine points on 3-of-14 shooting in Game 2 last night against Connecticut, you’d think the Lynx were on the verge of getting swept.

But her teammates - including unheralded Courtney Williams - stepped up big time to lead Minnesota to a 77-70 win at Target Center. The series, tied 1-1, shifts to Connecticut on Friday.

Williams, a point guard who I sometimes think shoots too much, had 17 points, five rebounds and four assists. She also had five turnovers. Alanna Smith had 15 points.

They won’t hang this game in the Louvre. The teams started out 0-for-14. The Lynx were outright stifling defensively; The Sun shot just 5-of-20 from 3-point range.
