Loons look to advance to MLS’ final eight Saturday at home against Real Salt Lake. A loss sends the best-of-three back to Utah next week.

The Wild returns home for the first time in almost three weeks, facing Tampa Bay tonight. They’ll get Ryan Hartman back.

It would behoove the Wolves to put a body on someone in the paint and not turn the ball over 20 times, or the Nuggets will run them out of Target Center tonight.

If I’m Juan Soto, I’m not re-signing with the Little League team in the Bronx.

Twins’ 26-year-old OF Alex Kirilloff has had to retire due to a slew of injuries, most recently his back.

Vikes Look to Snap Skid on SNF against Colts

T.J. Hockenson’s return should give the Vikings a much needed offensive boost as they play Sunday night as five point favorites over Indianapolis.

Of course it’s the defense that’s been the biggest issue lately for the 5-2 Vikings. They’re going to see Joe Flacco, as the Colts have benched top five pick Anthony Richardson already.

The Colts are 4-4 but just 1-3 away from Indianapolis.

Vikings 31, Colts 24

Gophers Look for 4th Straight at No. 24 Illinois

A win on the road against No. 24 Illinois could put the Gophers, winners of three straight, into the top 25. Minnesota is actually a three-point favorite over the Illini.

A win Saturday (11 a.m. kickoff) will make the Gophers bowl eligible with Rutgers, Penn State and Wisconsin left on the schedule.

Gopher Hockey

The No. 4 Gopher men host No. 18 Penn State. Minnesota is 5-1-0 and plays its Big 10 opener.

The No. 3 Gopher women are heavy favorites to sweep the Beavers in Bemidji this weekend.
