Want to play hockey in “The Bear,” you better be ready to do two things: work hard and score some goals. City owned rinks, passion, and a tight knit community filled with “lifers” giving back to the program make the Bears a perennial power at all levels. In White Bear, you learn to skate at the iconic White Bear Lake Hippodrome (“The Hipp”), before refining your game learning from “The Godfathers,” experienced White Bear coaches at every level. Oh, and did we mention there’s a little rivalry with the private school right down the road including Sections! Making it that much sweeter when White Bear makes it to State. Go Bears!
