We Are Ice Wolves S5 | Ep 3 — Brotherhood.

At the core of hockey culture sits brotherhood. This weekend the NAHL’s New Mexico Ice Wolves honor head coach Kevin Hartzell’s late brother Michael “Bones” Hartzell raising money to support Tunnel to Towers charity supporting homeless military veterans, first responders, and their families. Bones was a homeless military veteran himself, and while his life was unorthodox, it provides an inspirational story we can all learn from. On the ice, the Ice Wolves turnaround story continues, as after a 1-10 start, they find themselves fighting for a home playoff series. The Ice Wolves have always been about developing the whole person, not just the player—so it should come as no surprise this year’s team has the chemistry required to start the first ever Ice Wolves Band.
