Clad in custom uniforms complete with backpacks, socks, and cargo shorts—it’s Back-to-School weekend for the New Mexico Ice Wolves! The Wolves take on rival Odessa as they look to secure home ice for the playoffs. But this weekend is bigger than hockey as a Skivvy Toss, the underwear version of chuck-a-puck, sponsored by Chill Boys will help the team donate over 1,500 pairs of new underwear to local clothing bank Locker 505. As for the hockey, that was plenty interesting too, as Ice Wolves fans were treated to an empty net game winner, goalie fight, and even a visit from the NAHL’s only wizard in training.
