Alayna Schwieters

How does a born and raised Minnesotan who loves to watch and play hockey end up in Kansas? No clue, but it didn’t involve a tornado or ruby slippers. Alayna is a proud Kansas Jayhawk, but she is happy to be back in the state of hockey, where it feels like everything is right in the world. After a multi-sport high school athletics career playing hockey, lacrosse, and tennis, Alayna spent college on the sidelines, managing the KU Men’s Club Hockey Team. Today Alayna’s competitive streak plays out mostly in beer hall games of pool, backyard cornhole, office foosball, or a round of golf. Alayna arrives at OWNER / Pulltab Sports after graduating from KU in 2.5 years with a marketing major. We’ve been trying to nickname her Young Sheldon, or for anyone a little older, Doogie Howser M.D., but it doesn’t seem to be sticking. Always caffeinated (she was a brand ambassador for Bubbl’r, after all), Alayna loves spending time on the lake, attending sports games or country concerts, finding the next best-hidden gem for food and drinks, and ending the night on the dance floor. Alayna’s motto is, "There is no wanting to be successful; you have to be, especially if you like nice things." Rock chalk!
